SONIC TIDES

This soundscape installation, set in a walled garden in central Poole, was experienced in darkness as voices emerged from multiple points throughout the space. As the garden shifted sonically from an inn yard to the harbour front and then the market square, each location was spatially layered onto the garden creating a realistic environment. Surrounding listeners from all sides, the audio immersed them in layers of 17th-century recollections.
